เท้า

เท้า is the genteel term for the foot, the term thought to be vulgar being ตีน. เท้า is used only for the foot of a human or an animal, the foot of a hill or the foot of a ben being ตีนเขา and ตีนเตียง.

เขาเท้าโต๊ะก่อนจะล้มลงไป He leaned on the table before he fell.

เขาพูดเท้า (เท้าความ) ไปถึงชีวิตของเขาเมื่อยังเป็นเด็ก He referred to his childhood. เขาสะดุดเท้าล้มลง He tripped and fell.
